Shortly after finishing college, Gene sent away for a correspondence course in ventriloquism. The first time he picked-up a puppet, he knew he had found the perfect vehicle to share his wit and humor with others.

Gene attended conventions and workshops all over the United States and was mentored by some of ventriloquism and magic’s finest artists. Gene became more and more fascinated with adding variety to his programs and quickly became adept with magic and then balloon sculpture.

Over the years Gene has chaired and been involved in many different organized regional comedy and magic conferences along with participating in annual events such as the International Clowns of America Convention, Comedifest and the International Fellowship of Magicians Conference.

Gene has entertained for Microsoft, Carnival Cruise Lines, Bon Macy’s, Alaska Airlines, Premera Blue Cross, The Seattle Space Needle, Allied Signal, The Grand Ole Opry Hotel and Conference Center and was the headliner for the birthday extravaganza for the Creator of Yahoo.com.

Gene relocated his home and business to the Knoxville Tennessee area in 2004 in order to be more centrally located and as a result has been able to spend the bulk of his time reaching audiences in various arenas with positive life changing messages.
